Today we are going to introduce one of the most common pink butterflies, Eurema hecabe, with dark yellow to yellow-white wings, wide black bands on the outer edge of the front wing, and clear boundaries on the back corner. But they are not exactly the same, nor are adults unchanged. Their seasonal polymorphism is obvious. The front and outer edge of the front wing of the autumn-winter type disappear more, the brown spots on the back of the wing are developed, and the black bands on the body’s wing surface are weak or disappear. Only the top corner is black. In spring and summer season, the front corner of the forewing is round and blunt.
They can produce 5 to 6 generations a year, overwintering with adults, which usually move below the mountainside.
It is widely distributed in China; Japan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, India, Bangladesh.
