In recent years, archaeologists have investigated and unearthed the tombs of the eighth generation of the Chu King in Xuzhou, among which the Shizishan Tomb of the Chu King is the most famous.
The burial chamber was stolen many times in its early years, and all the funerary objects were looted. Fortunately, none of the three ear chambers in the inner tomb passage and one of the burial chambers in the middle of the inner tomb passage had been robbed. Unstolen ear chamber doors are stoppered with stones and sealed with wooden doors, followed by iron doors. Many precious bronze and jade articles have been unearthed. It can be inferred from the cultural relics left behind that they are the imperial treasury, the storage room and the kitchen room.
Although the ear chamber is small, it takes 4-5 people to lift the stones to close the door. It is conceivable that the stones of the whole tomb door are huge.
