[Lost Family Stone] When we talk about Shi Chi Mi Wanzhong in the previous chapter, we should mention the story of Qingzhijiao in the courtyard of the Summer Palace’s Longevity Hall. In the courtyard of Leshou Hall in Beijing Summer Palace Park, there is a huge Taihu Stone, which is 8 meters long, 2 meters wide and 4 meters high. It is a boutique of North Taihu Stone. The name is Qingzhijiao. There is another nickname for this Taihu Stone, which is called "Lost Home Stone".
In Ming Dynasty, Mi Wanzhong, a master of stone appreciation, descendant of Mifu, was excellent in painting and calligraphy. He inherited the ancestor’s stone habit and called himself "Shiyin" and "Youshi". Because Miwan loved stone so much that he almost lost his fortune. Once, Miwanzhong found this huge Fangshan Stone in Fangshan, the western suburb of Beijing. It was shaped like a giant Ganoderma lucidum. It had fine texture and could make clear Yue sounds by knocking with objects. Miwan Ming loves it very much and wants to put it in the newly renovated spoon garden. So he hired hundreds of people and shipped the stone out of the mountain. It took 12 days for the boulder to be transported to Liangxiang Road, and the villagers were exhausted and unwilling to go ahead. The money of Miwanzhong was spent, so they had to leave it in the field beside the road. Mi Wanzhong wrote "Dashi Ji" to record the event: "Fangshan has stone, three Zhangs long, seven feet wide, green and moist, to the spoon garden, only to reach good township, work to the end of exhaustion." Some people say that Miwan Zhong’s family was ruined because of this, so people jokingly call this stone "the ruined family stone".
In fact, there are other secrets in why Miwanzhong’s financial resources lead to the loss of his family by carrying a stone. The actual reason is that Miwan Zhongyunshi Road was framed and persecuted by Ni Wenhuan, the party feather of the traitor Wei Zhongxian. Miwan Zhong had to say that the work had been exhausted to hide his eyes and ears.
Mi Wanzhong is upright and hateful. At that time, Wei Zhongxian, the great eunuch of Quan Qing, admired the title of Wanzhong’s book and asked him to write the screen. Mi Wanzhong did not write to Quan Guan in the end. Mi Wanzhong, Wei Zhongxian’s party feather Ni Wenhuan, impeached Wanzhong on his way to transport stones. He believed that such a huge stone could only be owned by the Royal family. Mi Wanzhong’s collection of the stone was tantamount to disdaining the Royal dignity. The court listened to the oracle, dismissed Miwanzhong’s official post and distributed the south. Miwan Zhong’s plan to transport stones ended in frustration. He had the stone covered by a straw shed, hoping that someday it would come into operation and be transported back to the spoon garden. In the first year of Chongzhen in 1628, Wei Zhongxian was criticized. The imperial court began to use ten thousand bells as the young Qing of Taipu Temple. Miwanzhong died in the same year because of years of ups and downs and accumulated hard work. His dream of transporting Fangshan Dashi back to Spoon Garden was not realized, leaving a deep regret.
A hundred years later, when Qianlong passed Liangxiang by sweeping his tomb, he was very interested in this matter. He was driving in person and was overjoyed to see the extraordinary stone posture. That is to say, he was decreed to move it into Qingyi Garden.
At that time, the main door of Leshou Hall "Shuimu Zi" had been repaired. The door was only more than one meter wide. The stone body of Mi’s body was heavy, and it was difficult to enter the hospital. Emperor Qianlong ordered that the wall be demolished and the door be broken, so that the huge stone should be placed where it is now. Two Taihu Lake stones with unique shapes were erected on its left and right to set off the atmosphere. Often watch and appreciate, and according to the shape and embellishment of the stone, but also taking into account the mother’s taboo, Yishiyan suddenly like Qingzhi headland, named the stone "Qingzhi headland", and carved three words on the stone.
Today, after 400 years of rain and wind, this Taihu stone still stands in the courtyard of Leshou Hall, greeting tourists from south to north, telling the history of the past.
