The ancestor’s home Temple commemorated by the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties was built in Yongle, Ming Dynasty, in the eighteenth year of the Ming Dynasty, according to the ancient ritual of "respecting the heaven and the fathers".
The main building is three halls, opposite the hall is the hall of halberd, and outside the hall is the Yudaihe River and the Jinshui Bridge. The main hall has eleven broad rooms, four deep rooms, the top of the double eaves, yellow glazed tiles, and the platform base of the triple Han white jade beard, which is the place where the emperor held the great sacrifice. There are fifteen matching halls on both sides of the hall, offering the tablets of royal families or military generals with special merits, namely the so-called quot; and the Taimiao quot;.
The central hall and the rear hall are also nine halls on the top of the yellow glazed tile hall. The central hall is called the bedroom hall, which is dedicated to the ancestral tablets of the emperor. The central chamber of the hall is for Taizu, and the other ancestors/clans are for each side chamber. Outside the shrine, there are empress chairs with the same number of deities. For the sacrifice of the queen, the Ming Dynasty was only for the original match, and the Qing Dynasty included the succession match.
The rear hall was called Zou Temple, which was built four years after Hongzhi. It was dedicated to the ancestors of Taizu and the emperors.
In addition, there are assistant buildings such as the Shen kitchen, the Shen ku, the slaughter Pavilion and the cattle house.
