Lion Mountain (II)
Lion Mountain Terracotta Warriors and Horses, discovered in December 1984, was originally a excavation pit in a brick and tile factory. The terracotta warriors and horses were first discovered, and then the tomb of King Chu was discovered.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses pit is divided into infantry pit, bicycle pit and cavalry pit, the distance is about 125 meters. The terracotta warriors pit is situated on the south side with three tunnels. Now the museum is built on its original site. No. 3 pit (figure_) was excavated. There are terracotta warriors and horses unearthed in pits No. 1 and No. 2 (Fig. 3-_).
When it comes to terracotta warriors and horses, don’t use the mausoleum of Qin Shihuang as a brain tonic. It’s an unusual and very unexpected peak of art. Han Dynasty figurines were much smaller and poorer in sculpture, compared with students’handicraft lessons.
