The tower was built in the years from Wu Zetian’s "Long Live Tian Zi" to "Long Live Dengfeng". The monastery was built in Qianyou three years after the Five Dynasties. Three years after the founding of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Jinbing conquered Ningbo, and the Tianfeng Pagoda and Temple were destroyed by fire and arms. Shaoxing was rebuilt in fourteen years. Jiading was destroyed thirteen years later. From the first year of the Yuan Dynasty to the first year of the Shun Dynasty, it was restored and the tower yard was rebuilt during the first year of the Yuan Dynasty. The Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China have repeatedly damaged and repaired. In 1984, more than 140 cultural relics such as the Silver Palace and the Silver Pagoda with the inscription "Shaoxing 14 years" were unearthed. In 1989, the landing gear was reconstructed according to the Song Pagoda-like system.
