乐生活Martes gwatkinsii is the only mink living in South India. They are distributed in the Nilgiri Hills and the Western Gaozhi Mountains.
Little is known about the mink. They are daytime, live in trees and sometimes fall underground. They eat birds, small mammals and insects. The Grignard mink is similar to the yellow-throated mink, but it has a large size and a notable depression in its forehead. They have dark backs and yellow to orange throats. They are 55-65 centimeters long, 40-45 centimeters long and weigh 2.1 kilograms.
