In fact, I am a person with a strong sense of crisis, and I have no confidence in my own luck. When I was 18 years old, I began to worry about my old age, which is growing with age.
So most of life and career planning, I tend to think mainly from the perspective of long-term risk aversion, rather than from the perspective of benefits.
When I graduated a decade ago, I was worried that for the outsiders of our four-tier city background, Beijing’s housing prices might be too high to afford, and the complexity of the economic situation and inflation might lead to my old age. So I have to hurry to look at the housing purchase, but also to seize the career choice of the securities industry, do a good job in economic and financial research, so as not to be trampled by the times also look around at confusion. Career choices are not good, because the industry is not a dividend industry these years, but a lean camel, far inferior to many booming industries. The only good thing is to seek benevolence and get benevolence. My desire to see the pulse and risks of the times has not been frustrated.
At this point in time, there are obviously more problems to worry about and worry about. For individuals, health and insurance planning, as well as allocation and risk planning, is clearly more prone to errors in the next decade. Therefore, it is unavoidable to constantly calculate and compare the risk-return ratio, risk-free return and risk compensation of various types of asset allocation.
I will not consider the issue from the perspective of maximizing the potential return. Instead, I am more concerned that the perspective of maximizing the potential return will affect my risk assignment and risk sensitivity, as well as the trade-off between the sustainability of returns.
From this perspective, I think the more probable short-run risk is the insufficient share allocation, not the others. For families, there should be different savings tanks in each period. The first ten years are houses, and the last ten years are probably stocks. Of course, not those stocks with high valuations, but low valuations, sustainable profitability and compound interest are the most important in the long run. Not to mention the index. At present, our capital market system is still very weak, and our ability to choose the strong is poor. The index reflected is not very strong. It is very difficult for index funds to bring long-term returns like the developed capital market of the United States.
It’s nonsense to say so much. The most important thing is only one sentence: this flag must be seen 10 years later, every day, every month, to frighten themselves, the most alarming, self-destructive prospects.
