When Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty "Lie Four Counties According to Two Passes", this area was under the jurisdiction of Dunhuang County. In the early Tang Dynasty, in the period of Wude, Guanzhou was set up, taking the meaning of "my ancestors left Guazhou" in Spring and Autumn Period. Along the Song and Yuan dynasties, Guazhou was abandoned in the early Ming Dynasty and returned to Chijin and Shazhou. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, he defeated the Gardan Department in Blongji. Yongzheng, located in Zhili Hall, Anxi. After Emperor Qianlong, he ascended to Anxi Prefecture and then descended to Anxi Zhili Prefecture, Li An Su Road. In the second year of the Republic of China, it was changed to Anxi County. In 2006, it was renamed Guazhou County.
