Day 8 Anilao
Larval Pearlfish
One of the most amazing and difficult fish larvae ever encountered, this young fish has a brightly colored crown, accounting for more than half of the body length, as rugged and gorgeous as a tribal chieftain’s necklace. Seeing it personally feels very fantastic, but it is difficult to show in the photos. First, it acts quickly and irregularly. Second, the overall transparency is very high. It is very difficult to find the right focal plane and take into account the posture. In addition, it also needs to control the lamp position. I’ve seen several times before, but I haven’t been able to take satisfactory pictures. I met two more individuals tonight, each of whom chose a more satisfactory picture to share with you.
