Aspidimorpha sanctaecrucis, sometimes referred to as the Scarab (a common name for other species elsewhere), is an Old World beetle belonging to the family Scarapidae. It is about 14 mm long. The beetle showed a golden reflex on the sheath wings and the anterior thoracic discs, and there were obvious posterolateral and humeral spots on the edge of the explanted sheath wings. It is active in the rainy season and diapauses in winter and summer. Adults and larvae feed on the family Convolvulaceae, which is known locally as "Sandrabi" and "Cheishra" in Manipur (northeastern India).
This species is distributed in Southeast Asia (China, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, northeastern India, Vietnam, Indonesia).
