Achatinidae.

Achatinidae, also known as the African Snail Family, is a group of terrestrial gastropods originating in sub-Saharan Africa, including 16 genera and 176 known species. Among them, Achatina Fulica (Fig. 1) has been widely introduced into the world as pets and food, which poses a great threat to the native ecosystems of many countries. Therefore, it has been listed as one of the world’s 100 largest invasive species. Those "small communities" which often make headlines in the major online media are shocked by giant snails. The snails on the news are them. However, in terms of body size, agate Brown snail is far from the largest in the family. Its relatives Achatina Achatina (fig. 2) and Archachatina marginata (fig. 3) are much larger than it. The former has a world record of 39.3 centimeters in shell length and 900 grams in weight.
As for the question of whether or not African snails can eat, which many people are concerned about, the answer is certainly yes: yes. These snails have long been a favorite source of cheap protein for uncles of black origin, and agate Brown snails have been introduced to other countries as one of the most economically valuable food species.[doge]
