Yinchuan Xia Wang Mausoleum (1) 2012 10.

Yinchuan Xia Mausoleum (1) Filming on October 2012

Under Helan Mountain, there are nine huge mounds. Some people praise them as pyramids, which are actually much smaller than the Hufu pyramids. These are not mounds, but internal fillings in the mausoleums of Xixia emperors & quot; mausoleums & quot; and so on. This is also true of other large and small mounds, such as the remains of Quemen, Xiandian and Jiaolou. Wooden buildings have long disappeared, and loess hills are submerged in the grass. The mausoleum numbered three is the largest (the base of the earth mound of the mausoleum is 36 meters in diameter and 24 meters in height). It is presumed to be the tomb of Li Yuanhao, the founding emperor of the Western Xia Dynasty (his grandfather Li Jiqian, his father Li Deming’s Taizu and the number of Taizong Temple are recognized), but there is no direct evidence of unearthed cultural relics.
During the Eleventh visit, there was a long queue.
