According to local chronicles and genealogy records, Yancun was built in the period of Yuan Feng in the Northern Song Dynasty. The first inhabitants of the four surnames of Cha, Wu, Cheng and Lv lived here. During the period of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty, the surname of Jin, which accounted for 80% of the total population of the village, moved from Tuochuan in Beixiang, Wuyuan. Picture 1 Cong Hearing Hall is the family of Shuxiang in the village. It was built by the ancestors of Jin Jiazao, an Hui merchant, in Qianlong year.
