Wuhou Temple in Chengdu (7) 2018 12.

Chengdu Wuhou Temple (VII) Filmed on December 2018

There are three opinions about where Liu Bei was buried:

The first is that Liu Bei’s tomb is Huiling beside the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu. From Chen Shou’s Records of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei’s body was transported back to Chengdu from Fengjie after his death, and then buried with Mrs. Wu. It is rumored that people at the Wuhou Temple Museum unexpectedly found many bricks from Shuhan Dynasty in the treehouse excavated at the edge of Huiling’s enclosure when planting trees.

The second is that Liu Bei’s tomb is located at Lianhuaba in Pengshan, Sichuan. The third view is that Liu Bei was buried in Fengjie. Because of the long journey and the hot weather, the corpses could not be preserved. Huiling, the capital of Chengdu, was a clothing grave.
