Wudang spectacle – Temple of thunder and fire

# 48 Hours Kang Young Wudang#[Wudang Miracle-Leihuo Temple]
On the top of Wudang, there stands a golden palace, a copper-cast palace. Golden Hall was built in 1416 in Yongle, Ming Dynasty. The main hall covers an area of 13.7 square meters. It is 5.54 meters high and weighs hundreds of tons. It is the largest existing copper-cast gold hall in China. According to historical records, all the components of the Golden Palace were cast in Beijing and transported from the canal to Wudang Mountain via the Yangtze River in Nanjing, then assembled with tenons and rivets.
Since the completion of the Golden Palace, Wudang has seen a wonder. Whenever thunderstorms come, there will be a large basin of fireballs rolling around the Golden Palace, dazzling, collision will occur in the crash of heaven and earth. Sometimes thunder and lightning pierce the sky, such as the sword splitting the golden palace, in an instant, the golden peak of Wudang Mountain is golden, shining at nine skyscrapers. Tens of miles away, the peak of Wudang can be seen, and the red light soars into the sky. Its scenery is like purple dragon rolling, occasionally going out of the country, rushing left and right, like a sea of fire surging on the golden peak, thrilling and spectacular. Everyone who has ever seen it is a wonder of the world and will never forget it.
What is more amazing is that after many lightning strikes, the Golden Palace is not only harmless, but also burnt away the rust and dust, which is as brilliant as new.
Unfortunately, we can’t see such a scenario now. For safety reasons, the local government installed lightning rods on the Golden Palace in 1980, and the wonder of "the Temple of thunder and fire" disappeared.[奥特曼]
