乐生活The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) predicts that the last five years will be the hottest in history. This is the third year in a row that they have made this prediction. Previously, the five highest global average temperatures were in 2016, 2015, 2017, 2014 and 2018.
Compared with 100 years ago, the average temperature of the earth increased by 1 degree Celsius. The Arctic sea ice area decreases by 54,000 square kilometers per year, equivalent to three Beijing. Antarctica melts more than 200 billion tons of glaciers a year, and the planet’s sea level rises by 3 millimetres a year.
