Walking in Tianfu Chengdu

# Walking in Tianfu Chengdu#Sichuan is the hometown of Zhang Daqian. Most of Mr. Daqian’s early and mid-term artistic activities were carried out in Sichuan. Sichuan Museum has collected a large number of Daqian’s fine works of art due to the chance meeting, especially the Dunhuang murals copies of Zhang Daqian, which are among the best in China, including a large number of semi-finished products. Become a bright business card of Sichuan culture.
In Dunhuang, Zhang Daqian copied more than 300 Dunhuang murals in two and a half years. Since 1941, Zhang Daqian has exhibited Dunhuang murals in Chengdu, Lanzhou, Chongqing, Shanghai and other places, which has aroused strong repercussions in China and caused a new round of Dunhuang fever. It is also because of the influence of Zhang Daqian’s trip to Dunhuang. In 1944, the Kuomintang government established the Dunhuang Art Research Institute, which ended the era of unmanned Dunhuang grottoes. In addition to copying Dunhuang murals, Zhang Daqian also investigated, numbered and recorded Mogao Grottoes, Xiqianfo Caves and Yulin Grottoes. Zhang Daqian recorded the contents of the caves in detail according to the order of numbers, including the times, shape and size of the caves, statues, murals and inscriptions of the donors. Before the number of Dunhuang Art Research Institute was published, Zhang Daqian’s Dunhuang Grottoes Number was widely adopted by academic circles. At present, the international academic circles in Dunhuang still regard "Zhang’s Number" (English Code C) as one of the standards. In the 1950s and 1960s, Dunhuang Research Institute sent Mr. Duan Wenjie to Sichuan Museum to borrow and exhibit a copy of Zhang Daqian’s Dunhuang murals for reference in renovating Dunhuang murals. It can be said that the trip to Dunhuang has made thousands of achievements, making them sharpen and become masters of the past and the present generation. Daqian has also made an important contribution to the development of Dunhuang art.[奥特曼]# A Wonderful Journey to the Museum#

Walking in Tianfu Chengdu

# Walking in Tianfu Chengdu#[Drum essence] Zhao Tingyin Tomb of Houshu was found in Longquanyi District of Chengdu in 2011. A large number of cultural relics have been unearthed in his tomb, including a pair of weird "pottery foot drums" one for foot, one for foot.
There is no description of this strange pair of "footdrums" in the exhibition hall. But we can find some clues from the literature. "Big Zhou Zhengle": "Thunder drum eight sides, to worship the sky. Six sides of the drum offer sacrifices to the land. Road drums are all around to worship ghosts and gods. The foot drum is the foot drum after summer, the pillar drum is used by Yin people, and the County drum is used by Zhou people. Later generations built the system of Fu Yin, which is called Jiangu, six feet and six inches high. Thus, Jiangu (Figure 7) evolved from a foot drum.
Six Ties: "Kui, one foot, one foot and one foot." The Book of Mountains and Seas, The Great Wilderness and the East Classic, describes Kui as "like a cow, with no horns, one foot, there must be wind and rain in and out of the water." "The Yellow Emperor got it, using the cowhide as the drum and the bone of the thunder beast as the base. He heard about it for 500 miles, so that he could dominate the world. If nine strikes are stopped, especially if they cannot fly away, they will be killed. This describes an animal that looks like a cow but has only one leg to jump around, called Kui. It was made into a drum by the Yellow Emperor to defeat Chiyou.
There are not many things with one leg to become perfect. According to Japanese legend, there is a kind of Tang umbrella demon (Japanese: small monk) who walks with one leg jumping. It belongs to a kind of funeral god. It appeared in the legend after the Edo era. It was changed 100 years after the oil-paper umbrella was placed.[奥特曼] # A Wonderful Journey to the Museum# New Museum of Chengdu Museum

# Walking in Tianfu Chengdu#[Life Series] I didn’t expect that the first time I ate string in my life, I came to Chengdu, the birthplace of string. This "dark cuisine" which first appeared on the streets in the 1980s has now become "China on the tip of the tongue". There is no concept of counting the number of people who eat a bunch. There are more than 1000 bunches of people who eat a bunch of food.[奥特曼]
