乐生活Today we introduce a very lovely small animal, Martes martes, also known as minks. Their fur is light brown to dark brown. They will gradually grow and become light in winter. They have creamy white to yellow Bibs on their throats. Their tails are long and fluffy, and they look dull and sprouting. But don’t underestimate them. Their ears are round and sensitive, and their teeth are sharp. Eat tiny mammals, birds, insects, frogs and corpses. Of course, they are not pure carnivores. Strawberries, eggs, nuts and honey are also their favorite dishes. They live in vegetated areas to nest in tree caves or shrubs. Their claws can be semi-contracted, which helps them climb trees, mainly from dusk to night. They also have territorial awareness and leave feces at the border. Sometimes these small animals bite the plastic part of the vehicle. This is not a prank caused by mischief. They are designed to sharpen or clean their teeth. The life expectancy of reared ferrets can reach 18 years, while that of wild ferrets can only reach 8-10 years.
Although golden eagles and red foxes sometimes prey on pine minks, humans are their greatest threat.,Hunting for fur, loss of habitat, human harassment and poisoning have all decimated their populations.,Pine marten is fully protected by law in the UK.
