乐生活Today, when collecting the old specimens from the 1980s, one or two (suspected) rounded-bellied fish / Aptocyclus Ventricosus were found. This fish has never been recorded in China. It belongs to the suborder Durocephalidae, Roundfin Fish Family. I don’t know whether it was picked in Beitai at that time, or whether the fish originally had a secret distribution in the Yellow Sea. The last time I personally saw a round-bellied fish was in Hokkaido, where the local dish "bagged fish soup" (ragged fish juice) was made of this fish.
