There are three criteria for the determination of the exchange rate manipulator in the United States.

The US "currency manipulator" has three criteria: trade surplus with the US exceeds $20 billion; current account surplus accounts for at least 3% of GDP; and continuous intervention in the foreign exchange market. Three standards need to be met at the same time.
According to this standard, we can’t afford to be labeled as a currency manipulator. Last year, our current account surplus accounted for only 0.4% of GDP, far from 3%.
So this time the United States listed us as a currency manipulator, not on the basis of these three criteria, but the statement made by the central bank after the exchange rate broke 7 on Monday, in which the U.S. Treasury Department said: "The statement of the People’s Bank of China is tantamount to publicly acknowledging its rich experience in currency manipulation and is ready to continue this operation."
The central bank is really not easy. Regarding the exchange rate statement, we should not only show the ability to maintain the stability of the exchange rate inward, but also show that we have no intervention outward. How to understand it depends on what part the listeners listen to.
It’s better to listen to each other, but when you say it, you can’t stop the choice of people who listen.
