Located in Shangfang, Dongshan Street, Jiangning District, Nanjing, also known as Shangfang Dongwu Tomb, is the largest, most complex and most unearthed brick Tomb of Dongwu. Excavated at the end of 2005, the tomb pit is 21.5 meters long and 14.4 meters wide. It is a brick chamber tomb with earth pits and vertical caves. It consists of earth sealing, grave pits, slope graveways, drainage ditches and brick chambers. On the top of the anterior chamber, there are giant roof rocks, beast-shaped lampstands in the four corners of the anterior and posterior chambers, and large tiger-shaped sarcophagus in the back chamber. The identity of the tomb owner is unknown and should be at the rank of emperor/king.
