The only real works of Liang Kai s Meticulous Brushwork in the world were collected in Shanghai Museum

# This is Shanghai.#Liang Kai is a famous painter in Southern Song Dynasty. Ningzong in the Southern Song Dynasty served as the highest court painter in the imperial academy. The emperor had given the gold belt, which was the highest honor of the academy. According to the statistics of Pei Wenzhai’s Book of Painting and Calligraphy, Shiqu Baoji and Nansong Painting Records compiled by Li You, there are not less than dozens of works left by Liang Kai, but only about ten of them can be seen today, and most of them are not in China.
Tao Jun Picture is the only important Song painting in the collection of Emperor Weng Tonghe of the two dynasties. On October 3, 23, Guangxu’s Diary of Weng Tonghe recorded this passage: "Shanghai tourists come for sale with paintings and calligraphy, including Liang Kai’s sketch of Tianzun, Songxue’s book Huangting Jing, and Chen Laolian’s painting Water Margin of 36 people, all of whom are excellent."
This picture is a portrait of the Taoist sutra, which Wu Qizhen described in the early Qing Dynasty as "The Images of the Huangting Sutra", a well-known handed down treasure.
