Princess Chen Guo and Puma
Among the excavated tombs of Liao Dynasty, the tomb of Princess Chen Guo in Naiman Banner of Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia, ranks the highest. More than 3000 unearthed cultural relics are represented by two gold masks worn on the head of the corpse.
Princess Chen Guo (1000-1018) is the daughter of Yelu Longqing, brother of Liao Shengzong. Xiao Shaoguang (982-1018) has not been recorded in the official history. The epitaph says that Xiao Shaoguang, the brother of Empress Shengzong of Liao Dynasty, was the original wife of the empress. "Taining Military Restriction Envoys the proofreader of Master Matthew Xiao Shaoguang, who is also the elder brother of the empress", which is a generation older than the princess. They were 18 years old, died in the same year, and their marriage lasted only two years.
Note:
Liaoqing Mausoleum (including Shengzong/Xingzong/Daozong Mausoleums) was stolen in the Jin Dynasty and dug again in the Republic of China. Japanese scholar Bird House Longzang made an investigation and research, and published Qingling. The albums of emperors and queens in the three mausoleums are now collected in Liaobo. Some of the tombs themselves have been destroyed.
Last year, it was reported that the sacrificial hall and Xuangong in front of Liaoqianling Mausoleum were found in Beizhen, Liaoning Province, probably the tombs of Liaojingzong and Xiao Chuo. But no more reports have been reported. The excavation of the imperial mausoleum and underground palace is difficult to obtain approval.
