Speaking in confusion late at night.
Someone on the Douban was discussing what you would like if God could give you a choice between talent and beauty.
(Of course, a group of bean friends can’t wait to express their admiration for talent and disdain for beauty.
)
But I think about it carefully, if such "gifts" really have a choice, I choose beauty.
Although there are many different aesthetic standards, there are objective standards for beauty. Who dares to say that Ishihara is beautiful?
But talent is too broad, too difficult to judge, and it’s in different fields (some people have talent here, but there’s a mess there). Many people’s talents are beyond the reach of ordinary people.
And how is talent enough? To be honest, I may be considered "talented" by some people, but I feel like a spicy chicken every day. (But I absolutely don’t believe that Limei Ishihara feels ugly.)
So the most practical answer, of course, is to look good — and make full use of the advantages that your looks bring to you (not to betray your looks, but people who look good will benefit more everywhere, as many studies have proven), to choose and pursue talents that you find useful.
I think so, as a matter of fact, I’m a ruthless adult. (But I’m not Yan Jun, really.)
