American Species RecordThe American mammal, along with the beat – Enhydra lutris Linnaeus, 1758, has been almost destroyed by the fur trade. Especially the sea otter is almost the southernmost place. The number of sea otters has dropped to about 50. Now the protection has brought them back to more than 3000, but in the past few years, there was no reason why it had suddenly dropped 25%.
