Rhinopoma hardwickii.

Rhinopoma hardwickii has a long slender tail covered with soft fur and a grayish-brown color.
Mouse tail bats are insectivorous, feeding mainly on beetles, Neuroptera insects and moths, many of which are considered pests by humans. Their diet is less diverse than that of other bats, with beetles up to 50%. They accumulate fat in the skin folds of the lower abdomen, which allows them to survive the winter when insect availability is low.
Mice tail bats are well suited to live in hot and dry climates. They have valves just above their nostrils that can be opened or closed at will, helping to prevent dust from entering. They have physiological control over the kidneys to reduce water loss.
Mice tail bats kill insects at altitudes of 5 to 10 metres from the ground. They are often mistaken for birds because their subduction and gliding patterns are similar to those of birds (we are not birds, we are the only mammals that can fly).
