Planigale.

Planigale, the smallest genus in the family Marsupiaceae, has five species, which are easily mistaken for small rodents, but can be identified by its unique triangular head. Adult individuals of this genus tend to weigh less than 5 grams, smaller than the Ningaui genus, and only a few shrews compete with them for the title of "smallest mammal" throughout the mammalian class. Nevertheless, such pocket skunks are not vegetarian. They are still active and ferocious predators, although their small size makes it difficult for them to catch anything other than insects.
