乐生活Pieris rapae
Pieris is a genus of pink butterflies. Latin originally means the name of a goddess in Greek mythology. Rapae is a kind of vegetable butterfly, which means turnip and is a plant of Cruciferae. Turnip is the host plant of rapeseed butterfly. It likes to fly and visit flowers in the open.
Both sides of the wings are white, with one or two black spots. The top angle of the front wing is black. Sometimes the edge of the rear wing will have prominent yellow stripes, or the whole reverse side will show the light yellow which has been sunbathed for a long time.
The larvae of Pieris rapae, commonly known as Pieris rapae, have green body, yellow back and valve lines, and are covered with many small black spots and villi. But the vegetable butterfly is an important agricultural pest.
