乐生活American Bird Patagioenas fasciata Say, 1823, the closest living relative of the pigeon, although the mourning pigeon looks more like the famous extinct species of the pigeon, its closest relatives are the South Pigeon of Chile, the ring-tailed South Pigeon of Jamaica and the spotted-tailed South Pigeon here; it can be seen in the southwestern United States and Western South America; one species has been found in the past. It is believed that with the extinction of pigeons, the parasitic insects of Ornithopteraceae, which only parasitized on pigeons, were also thought to be extinct until they were rediscovered on pigeons.
