[Ming Dynasty defective products] The Shanghai Museum’s "Scintillation Reproduction: Jingdezhen Porcelain Exhibition in the Middle Fifteenth Century" specially displayed a batch of "semi-finished products" of blue and white colored porcelain unearthed from Jingdezhen kiln site. These "semi-finished products" only burned high-temperature blue and white once, possibly because of flaws, the unfinished works were shattered and buried deeply. The restored objects show all the blanks in the low-temperature glaze, just like the modern unfinished fill-in paintings.
From Yongxuan to Chenghua, most of these debris were unearthed. It can be seen that at that time the imperial kiln paid great attention to the quality of production, regardless of the cost, the blue and white color found a slight defect that was broken deep buried. Occasionally, those who pass down "color leakage" are of great value.
