Martes zibellina…

Martes zibellina, also known as mink and forest mink, is a mammalian weasel. Mink is a species of mink native to northern Asia. They are distributed in Ural Mountains, Siberia, Mongolia, Northeast China and Hokkaido, Japan. In China, it is only produced in Northeast China, and it is called "Three Treasures of Northeast China" together with "Ginseng and Antler".
Although it is called treasure, it is also endangered and first-class protected animals, of course, there are also domesticated.
Living in mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests and subfrigid coniferous forests with cold climate from 800 to 1600 meters above sea level, most of them build nests in tree caves or on stone mounds. Most of them live alone outside the mating period. They are agile and vigilant. Actions are basically running and jumping, generally jumping up to more than 30 centimeters. The diet includes a wide range of small rodents, rabbits, poultry, insects and fish. Sometimes they also eat honey, nuts and berries. Predatory time is mostly night, but it also changes with the amount of food. Predator elevation also changes.
The reproductive capacity of wild mink is not too strong. In addition to human hunting and a series of effects, the mink in Greater Hinggan Mountains has been extinct for many years. Now the emergence of aquaculture should also ease it.
