A little friend from London (and Britain) would like to tell you that the new exhibition of Wellcome Collection, Being Human, has been launched!
I am responsible to say that the Huikang Collection is the museum that best displays the human body and medical frontiers, has the greatest value for thinking, and has the closest connection with the present. There are few similar museums in the world. Besides Henry Wellcome’s huge collection of medical history, his family also has a large number of modern art works reflecting human body, health, medicine and social relations, which is very eye-opening.
Being Human is a four-part exhibition, each of which is a complex topic worth discussing at present. It uses some works of art to show its content and thinking.
– Gene, the working piece of Gene in Figure 1, shows the face of modern gene research.
– "Mind & amp; Bodies". Fig. 2 is a device created by people with mental disorders to express the "state of health" in their hearts.
– Infection, Fig. 3 is a bacterial-related work of art, and Fig. 4 is the global challenge of disease.
– "Environment Breakdown", Fig. 5 is a video of "McDonald’s flooded".
In a word, Wellcome’s static explanation is very good. Even if you can’t understand it at a glance, the exhibition board can deliver the key content.
Most importantly. Free Admission. It closes on Monday and opens at 10 o’clock every Thursday evening. It’s just across from Euston Railway Station. Let’s go and see it.~
