乐生活Liangzhu Site is located in Liangzhu Street, Pingyao Town and its surrounding areas in Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It covers a total area of 34 square kilometers. The site dates from 3300 B.C. to 2000 B.C. It belongs to the Neolithic cultural site and is the most important and representative site of Liangzhu Culture. The results of the application for the site of Liangzhu Ancient City are expected to be unveiled this week. Looking at 53 world heritage sites in China, there are no pure Neolithic projects yet. If Liangzhu succeeds, it will be the first. The success of Liangzhu is really crucial. Liangzhu has been selected as the national key cultural relics protection unit by "Liangzhu Site". With the deepening of archaeological research, the name of the application has now been positioned as "Liangzhu Ancient City Site". Experts’views have also changed from "Liangzhu Culture" to "Liangzhu Civilization".
It is of great significance to change from simple sites to ancient city sites and from culture to civilization.
