June 8, 2019 is China’s Cultural and Natural Heritage Day. The Shanghai Museum Science and Technology Center for Cultural Heritage Conservation launched a publicity and Exhibition campaign on intangible cultural heritage. 40 people were invited to enter the Shanghai Museum Science and Technology Center for Cultural Heritage Conservation. They were asked to learn about the techniques of ancient ceramic restoration, bronze restoration, ancient painting and calligraphy mounting, ancient furniture restoration, ancient books restoration and Koro prints. Six representative projects of intangible cultural heritage in Shanghai, including "Reproduction Skills", have experienced how the techniques of restoring and reproducing cultural relics handed down for generations can help our cultural heritage to survive and revitalize.
