Dule Temple (3)
I haven’t been there for ten years, although these pictures are not good. Sometimes there is a feeling that we should go early to see the historic sites. We can get very close to them and see them before they are repaired. It is common for ancient temples to be destroyed and built several times. Reconstruction is to build new temples, not to pursue retro, but only for the beliefs of the time. Architecture before the Qing Dynasty is much the same as that of modern architecture, and they all come down in one continuous line. After the twentieth century, the city changed, but temples and palaces continued the shell of ancient buildings, mortise and dowel arch became the appearance, reinforced concrete is the connotation. The most helpless is the mural Buddha statues and the like, no longer the crystallization of art, more ugly, cartoon, impetuous.
