Jean Jacques Rousseau, a famous French thinker…

How did Jean Jacques Rousseau, a famous French thinker, educator and philosopher, begin his career?

The answer is probably… He failed in his chemistry experiment.

In 1736, Rousseau, in his early twenties, was experimenting with quicklime and arsenic trisulfide in the hope of replicating a formula for invisible ink. (I don’t know where I got it)
"When he filled a bottle with a mixture of quicklime and arsenic trisulfide, the bottle began to boil violently. He rushed over and pulled the cork off, but it was too late, and the liquid exploded in his face… He swallowed a lot of dust, which almost killed him. For six weeks, he couldn’t see anything. "Short breath, there is a feeling of suffocation, will unconsciously sigh, palpitation, and even vomit blood… He never recovered from that."

… So he turned to his desk. Soon he moved to Paris and met many thinkers of that time. Nineteen years later, he wrote On the Origin and Basis of Human Inequality.

Students in the laboratory must pay attention to safety, otherwise they can only become a liberal arts student (fog).[拜拜][拜拜]
