In a group of Wechat, I saw a small video which was full of creativity. It was beautiful and moving to make the bird anthropomorphic. But it used our pictures, but we were totally unaware of it. We felt awkward. We immediately found the author and found that the author had published his works on many platforms and also our photos. The film, however, did not support us, nor did it indicate any source.
Looking at the pictures and then at the paintings, I feel very uncomfortable. Painting is not easy, and wild photography is not easy. Although painting is also a good way to disseminate culture, it is not a direct re-creation with the original author. It is a disrespect for the original author, and to some extent constitutes a violation of the law. The author has been trusted twice and has not been answered.
In fact, we support some artists to present the beauty of nature to you. Generally, as long as we have said that we need to provide photos, we will provide them. But it’s really uncomfortable to take the pictures directly without telling us when the works are published.
