Cyclosia midamia (Herrich-Sch ffer, [1853])
A fascinating blue in the dark forest.
Cyclosia moths contain several species that are very similar in appearance to butterflies; when captured, they also secrete defense fluids, which are not palatable.

Carcinochelis (Chelocoris, Carcinocoris) is one of the few insects with chelate structure. These tiny (5-8mm) bugs, Reduviidae, love to move between flowers, catching prey with crab forceps like forefeet. For the same purpose of capture, chelate structure is much less common in insects than that of Mantis foot. One of the most important factors may be that it is difficult for the former to combine walking with walking, which is a fatal weakness for insects with only three pairs of feet. Crab bugs do falter when they walk. Fortunately, they rarely move when they wait for rabbits. Compared with crab bugs, which are found only in the narrow area of southern Asia, the mantis bugs and prototubercles with the pygmy foot structure obviously have more competitive advantages, and their distribution extends to the cold zone of northern Asia.
