Jane Mill crossed the leopard cat with the black Egyptian cat and bred the new Bengal cat. Bangladeshi leopard cats are independent, changeable in temperament, sometimes showing a wild side, and have better hunting ability than other cats.
The number of Bangladeshi cats is not very large because they are very complex at the early stage of reproduction; because of their unique markings and flavor, and their leopard-cat lineage, Bangladeshi cats are quite curious and deadly attractive. The Bangladeshi cat is the only cat breed that has a genetic relationship with the wild cat family. Now in California, Bangladeshi cats are being bred. The UK has banned such mating to protect wildlife.
