I finished "Chicken Conquers the World" while waiting for the Europa League final to be broadcast live.
The writing is not bad. One of the things that bothers me is that when the author wrote the book, the domestication of chickens had not been solved. Every family was quarrelling fiercely, and many of the red raw chickens found were impure. The Swedish team that took the purest red plain chicken to be sequenced in 2011 found out what it was, cared and cared.
Another point is that the English title of the book is a stalk and cannot be translated.
