Guns are really more successful than diamonds in marketing. After three or four times packaging for half a century, guns have evolved from a commodity bound to concepts like masculinity to a part of the core values of the United States. Capturing the right to use guns is no less than killing the democratic freedom of the United States. Every time a shooting case is heard, gun supporters can make any casualty figures dim as long as they move out of the spirit of the United States and the Second Amendment. Diamonds can still be attacked with uselessness and blood, but who dares to say that liberal democracy and personal will are too expensive?
