The annual Changgang Spark Conference was re-lit on August 23 this year as scheduled.
Nagasaki Spark Conference is one of Japan’s three major spark conferences. The initial prayer is for the civilians who died in the air raids during World War II. Later, it gradually mourns the people who died in the earthquake, tsunami and other disasters. It has lasted for nearly 170 years since 1879. It is held every year on Saturdays and Sundays in the first week of August. It is held on the Bank of Xinrongchuan River in Changgang City, Xinli County. The number of people who go to see it every year is about 960,000. More than 20,000 different kinds of sparks will be launched in two days, which is called the first spark conference in Japan.
Every year, the fireworks mix is slightly different, but Phoenix, the climax of the show, retains Jupiter, a song by the famous singer Plain Aquila, which can be deeply shocked even across the screen.
