乐生活Ejina Poplar Forest (II)
Who can be so stubborn?
Drought, cold, salt and alkali tolerance
Wind resistance, sand resistance and disaster resistance
Ten meters deep to absorb nutrients
Three years after rain
Even if drought killed for more than twenty years
New buds blossom in the face of water
Who can be so bold?
Live for a thousand years and never die
A thousand years after death
Fall down a thousand years immortality
Hold high the banner of life
Fighting against the Yellow Sand all year round
Willing to garrison in the vast Gobi
(excerpts from Shi Xingguang’s Poplar Praise)
