I’ve been thinking about one thing lately. In order to adapt to more scenes, I hesitated again and again, and replaced the main equipment of black water shooting with d850+60 micro, so that with Nauticam’s SMC and wml, we can change the perspective of three different focal segments at any time: ultra-fine distance, conventional medium focus and fisheye. This is undoubtedly very valuable for black water, which never knows what to encounter next second.
But this lens also has some drawbacks at the same time, 60 micro as an internal focus lens, the advantages are obvious, first of all, it is quiet and fast, the lens length is short, there is enough distance to smc1 or even smc2 for black water shooting (has been measured available),), the quality of the image is also impeccable when shooting small objects, this performance as an old lens introduced in 2008 has been very good.
But when shooting some larger organisms underwater, the defect of this lens is also obvious – the overall imaging is not very ideal at this time, and the dispersion outside focus is serious, which may be caused by the structure of internal focus. I compared the shooting effect of the same theme, the overall picture quality is much worse than Canon’s red circle, and there is a big gap between Shima’s 70 micro and Shima’s. This may be the reason why Shima insists on keeping the new generation’s 70 micro outside focus design.
Grasp more opportunities or pursue more extreme painting quality, which is always a tangled thing.
