Coryphaena hippurus (Linnaeus, 1758)…

Coryphaena hippurus (Linnaeus, 1758), also known as ghosthead knife, is a large and medium-sized oceanic fish with high edible value. It is usually made into fish steaks, fillets and other products for frying and barbecuing. It is especially popular in Europe and the United States. In the Northwest Pacific Ocean, summer is the most common season. Adults migrate northward in the Kuroshio to catch flying fish during summer reproductive migration. At the same time, the eggs laid earlier have grown into juveniles. There is a certain difference between the appearance of the small spotted loach and the adult fish, but the young fish lacking strong activity can only drift with the water, so they usually move near the float and have protective color. At this stage, young fish can be easily caught with hand-fishing nets and released into the sea after taking pictures.
