Anonymous handscrolls of characters in white sketch, handed down to Wu Daozi’s works in Tang Dynasty, are the most classical religious paintings in the past dynasties. The length is 292 x 30 cm, silk ink. There are 87 immortals descending from the sky, marching in procession, with rich and graceful posture. Pan Tianshou commented: "All the characters’sleeve ribbons, wrinkles, banner fringes and other ink lines, interlacing and whirling to achieve a harmonious interest and walking movement, people feel that all kinds of instruments are sending out a harmonious music, in the air melodious general."
