Chongling Tomb of Qingxi Tomb in Yixian County (3) Filming in 2015/2
The underground palace was stolen in 1938 and the grave robbers were not named.
In 1980, a burglary hole was found in Tailing Tomb, where the cultural preservation Office of the Western Tomb of Qing Dynasty was located. The burglary hole was applied for excavation and approved by the State Administration of Cultural Relics. After excavation, it was found that the burglary did not break through the diamond wall. But at that time, the personnel of the cultural security center did not want to stop and planned to open the underground palace of the Tailing Mausoleum directly. Mr. Xia Nai arrived at the scene together with the leadership of the State Administration of Cultural Relics and asked for immediate backfilling. Maybe in order to take care of the mood of the Qing Xiling Cultural Preservation Institute, the leaders of the State Administration of Cultural Relics agreed to clean up the stolen Chongling. In 1980, Chongling was reopened. After clearing the coffin of Emperor Guangxu, he also took part of the bones and braids. Later studies showed that its arsenic content was too high and there were signs of poisoning in life.
