Cheers. So unrelated to journalists wanting more protection. For me, freedom of speech has responsibilities. This guys contract, as you say, forebode him from making bigoted comments on social media. So he was sacked. That’s fine. People should be held responsible for what they say. I’m all for peoples rights though I think there’s times when organization go too far one way with “PC” stuff. Give people equal rights, stop here speech but remember that a lot of people need education, not having the law thrown at them (except Christian fundamentalists who can all go to hell! )
