Charidotella sexpunctata
One of the smallest and most fascinating transparent creatures in the world. The body is golden or orange with two or no black spots on the wing base. The edge of the whole body is round and the edges of the wings and heads are transparent. This discoloration comes from the water droplets stored under the outer cuticle. The light refraction through the water droplets is a change in color. It can present a variety of colors, including gold, silver, yellow and surface patches. Most often on morning glory.
Once the tortoise beetle dies, the color disappears when the water evaporates and the body dries and shrinks.
